Séraphitüs-Séraphîta I had to listen to this album immediately again after the first listen. So evocative. Something light and airy about these recordings with a bit of an undertone of sadness for me. Perhaps that is what these tracks are drawing from my subconscious, rather than the works themselves being sad. Bennu encouraged a great deal of introspection for me today, which I am most grateful for 🙏 The cover artwork is also stunning 💙 Favorite track: Local Void.

The four tracks on Bennu consist of a blend of light, pulsing ambient drones. At times they have an ethereal, otherworldly quality. The field recordings are a combination of urban & natural sounds, taken at various locations around my home and locality. Bennu is a lighter release overall,
in mood, sound and themes. It's about cleansing and recharging oneself and ones environment, beginning again with new energy.

Bennu: (Egyptian mythology) A self-created Egyptian deity with the form of a bird which was associated with rebirth, creation and the Sun. Related to the verb weben (wbn), meaning "to rise", "rise in brilliance" or "shine".
